The album (the USA release is subtitled “If You Love Me”) was recorded in New York, marking the start of a significant collaboration: with Gary Burton, the authentic and outstanding vibes player and, like Galliano, a musician of extraordinary poetic feeling. The rhythm is made up of the extraordinary bass player George Mraz and by Clarence Penn, one of the best drummers of this generation from across the Atlantic.
